Sia's We Are Born Gets New Release Date

If I haven't been beating it into both my and your heads enough, Sia's upcoming 4th studio album, We Are born, is set to be properly poppy and most radically awesome in every sense. After having let you in on the original April release date, and with the Aussie-singer in talks with major labels, the new release date for the offering is now June 7.

Popjustice, our pals who know all the knowings before anyone, have additional info on the Greg Kurstin-produced album, along with a clip of lead single, Clap Your Hands (beware: they could only shell out 1.5 seconds, but hell if we don't already love it).

Last year, we actually got a listen in on 2 of the songs that will appear on We Are Born (full track list is below). And yes, Oh Father is a cover of the Madonna song. We swoon. (more info on the album and upcoming video for Clap Your Hands can be found over on PaperMag...thanks to our pal, Alex!)

Note: these are live versions, one recorded at a 2009 show in Sydney, and the other from a friend of a friend of a cousin of a friend's wedding...or something like that. Either way, we're super plussed about both of them, so have a listen. Yeah, I'm that girl posting live recs of rightfully amazing work. Go on and reprimand me. I'll wait.

I didn't like Sia's music very much. But I had the chance to listen to this album in a row and I have to say it was such a nice surprise. Thank you for sharing the songs.
